PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
KINDRED MAIN STAGE brings superheroes to KiteFest.
Learn what is takes to be a superhero, when everyone’s favourite crime-fighting teams are brought to life on the Kindred Main Stage daily.
Join the original Justice League members; Batman, Wonder Woman and The Flash, as they prepare future superheroes to one day ‘Join the League.’
Or perhaps your little one wants to become a member of the PJ Masks team? Have fun with Catboy, Owlette & Gekko, as they uncover the secrets of thwarting the nighttime villains.

UP IN THE SKY
Families will get swept away in the colour and excitement of this world-class kite show. The best kite flyers travel from throughout the world including Canada and New Zealand, to leave spectators mesmerised by their majestic kites of all shapes and sizes.
Want to fly your own kite? Then head over to the Quest Public Kite Flying Zone where you can bejewel the sky with your own kite or make your own before testing it out for the first time.
KITEFEST AFTER DARK
The fun doesn’t stop as the sun goes down – it’s only the beginning on Saturday night!
From 4pm, this year’s brand-new nighttime component, KiteFest After Dark, will be the hottest place to be with stage entertainment, illuminated kite displays and the Village Motors Bar & Grill.
Finish the night with a BANG when the ocean comes alive with the night-time Jet Ski Stunt Show and fireworks finale over Moreton Bay at 8pm.
ON THE WATER
Don’t miss the action on the water with the thrills and spills of the Jet Ski Stunt Show. Prepare yourself for the high-speed jet ski stunt routines, flyboards and of course high-flying kites in tow. Check out the action twice daily on the water (9.30am and 12noon).
TRANSPORT AND PARKING
Take the stress out of your Redcliffe KiteFest experience and head straight to the Redcliffe Showgrounds where you can park and ride the shuttle bus for FREE, running regularly all weekend.
As most locals will know, parking around Pelican Park is very limited. Drivers are encouraged to follow signs at all times, as fines may be applied for cars parked illegally.
