It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Put on your most festive attire and warm up those carolling voices because the annual Scarborough Christmas Carols are back on Sunday, 9th December to celebrate the most magical time of the year.

From 3pm, Scarborough Beach Park will become a Christmas Wonderland with a huge afternoon of free festive fun for the whole family.

Pick up those last-minute Christmas gifts at the beachside twilight markets where you’ll find unique hand-crafted and hand-made presents for the whole family. There will also be a range of delicious food options available from vendors and food trucks.


Step into Santa’s Village where the kids will be spoilt for choice with so much to see and do including a life-sized snow globe, free jumping castle and nativity scene, along with arts and craft activities and a very special chance to get a photo with Santa.


What better way to draw the evening to a close than watching the sky light up with a spectacular firework display at 8pm.

  • Entry is FREE – the event also boasts a range of free and low-cost activities and workshops


Spread out your picnic blanket and get ready to sit back, relax and join in the carolling fun all afternoon. Don’t miss special performances from local community organisations, performing arts groups and schools, plus a marquee carolling performance from 7pm, as you sing-a-long to all your favourite Christmas carols under the stars.
