Looking to get a bit arty, have a bit of fun, and maybe enjoy a beverage or two while doing it? You’re in the right place.
Arts-n-Drafts on the Peninsula is an incredibly unique events venue, offering ‘Paint and Sip’ sessions for adults (and also hosting children’s art parties). Their focus? A place where everyone can have a laugh, catch up, and even meet new interesting people.

THE BACK STORY
Arts-n-Drafts initially opened on the Peninsula just before the COVID-19 pandemic, however like many businesses had to cease operation for a time. They are back up and running (COVID-safe of course) and are accepting up to 45 customers at each session!
Owner Mason Kratz has wanted to bring “something different” to the peninsula for a long time, and once he saw the old building they are now in (located on Sutton Street), he knew exactly what the experience needed to be… a place where people can let their hair down and get arty – even if they never have before!
WHO IS THIS FOR?
All are welcome!! Arts-n-Drafts have had birthday parties for 6-year olds up to 80-year olds. It is an activity everyone can enjoy.
For the BYO Paint and Sip events, or events where alcohol will be consumed, they do require 18+ only with ID.
The event is also perfect for those who have never painted in their life! The most common feedback Arts-n-Drafts get?… “I can’t believe I painted that; I’ve never painted anything!!”
To join in, nothing is needed from you except a festive attitude and willingness to have fun.

Scheduled Paint and Sip events occur either Friday or Saturday from 7PM till around 10PM. However events can also be schedule at any time during the week.
READY TO GET YOUR ARTS ON? EASY!
Simply head to www.artsndrafts.com.au and see if there is a scheduled event for your desired time. Sessions can be booked via the website, by phone, or by sending an email to: events@artsndrafts.com.au.
Once booked, all you need to do is arrive at studio with your favourite beverage as Arts-n-Drafts is a BYO venue. They have glasses for your wine or beer, and a fridge to keep everything cool. There is also a large lounge area for socialising, and a bar with booths for all guests to use and every guest will have their own floor space with a stool, table, and easel to hold your canvas.
