It’s no secret that the recruitment process can be long and arduous, and quite often doesn’t produce the goods in terms of candidates or job roles. Enter, Employmeet. A brand new way of doing employment that assists both jobseekers and business owners.
A local initiative launched right here on the Peninsula, Employmeet is the brainchild of social activist, Ryan Elson, created to reinvent the outdated recruitment process that favours resumes rather than an applicant’s personality and suitability for the role.
With a vision to create meaningful connections between jobseekers and potential employers, Employmeet initially started as a monthly meet-up encouraging job seekers to leave the resume at home and put them face-to-face with employers looking to find their next team member.
The Employmeet vision has since evolved and gone digital – creating a trusted online meeting place where businesses don’t have to be bombarded with resumes every time they recruit and offering the opportunity to be more selective about who is interviewed thanks to greater transparency and qualifying.
When personality matters for a role, Employmeet is the online platform that gives jobseekers the chance to showcase who they are and why they would make a great addition to any team. Employmeet is here to change the way employment is done – based on personality rather than a resume.
